Understanding Alum University Statuses

Alumni University Status is a core field used in Gradforce to track an alumnus's college progress. Please see below for the different options for this field and their definitions. 




  • Never Enrolled - We have no record an almnus ever attended a college or university.
  • No Longer Enrolled - An alumnus has spent some time at a college or university, but left without completing a degree.
  • Currently Enrolled (2 Year/4 Year) - An alumnus is a current student at a given college or university.
  • Graduated (2 Year/4 Year) - An alumnus graduated from a given college or university.
  • Graduated (2 Year/4 Year), Continuing - An alumnus has received a 2 or 4 year degree and is still enrolled at a college or university.
  • Plan - There are various kinds of Plan statuses, all used to reflect a students plan for college before a first round of enrollment data is uploaded
  • Self-Verified Enrolled - An alumni has verified a student’s enrollment, but is still waiting on NSC data.
