Exploring Existing Sales Dashboards

TABLE OF CONTENTS


The Cristo Rey national office has created several standard dashboards to help CWSP teams visualize their sales data. This article will walk through the reports that are included in these help docs. Note that every report can be either expanded using the expand button to the top right of each component or viewed in a new window by clicking on the "View Report" link to the bottom left of each component. Accessing Your Dashboards


To access your personal dashboards as well as the standard dashboards:


    1. Click on the Dashboards tab.



    2. Click All Folders from the menu to the left.


    3. Choose from the available folders:



a. CWSP Operations Dashboards - standard dashboards that include data on CWSP operations.

b. CWSP Sales Dashboards - standard dashboards that include data on CWSP sales (the focus of this article).

c. Any folder(s) that you or your team have created to store personalized dashboards.

d. Private Dashboards - dashboards created by you that only you can see.


Home Dashboard


The Home Dashboard is the landing page for the CWSP Sales app. You can open it in a new tab by clicking the Open button to the top right of the dashboard.



1. All Open Opportunities: Total Revenue - sum of total revenue for all open opportunities: new & renewals; paid, funded, unpaid.


2. All Open Opportunities: FTE Count - sum of total FTEs for open opportunities: new & renewals; paid & funded only.


3. New Job Opportunities - funnel of all new paid & funded jobs, grouped by stage and totaled by FTE, won and open.


4. Renewal Opportunities - funnel of all renewal paid & funded jobs, grouped by stage and totaled by FTE, won and open.



5. Closed Won: Total Revenue - sum of total revenue for all closed won opportunities: new & renewals; paid, funded, unpaid.


6. Closed Won: FTE Count - sum of total FTEs for closed won opportunities: new & renewals; paid & funded only.


7. Progress Toward FTE Goal: Closed Won - gauge of progress toward FTE goal: closed won; paid & funded only.



    8. Total Combined CWSP Revenue and FTEs: Closed Won - sum of revenue and FTE count for all opportunities, subtotaled by partnership category (paid, funded, unpaid, etc) and type (new job or renewal).



    9. Most Recent Closed Won - most recent won opportunities, in descending order of close date.


Expanded Sales Dashboard


The Expanded Sales Dashboard includes some of the same reports as the home dashboard but expands on key sales metrics.



    1. All Open Opportunities: Total Revenue - sum of total revenue for all open opportunities: new & renewals; paid, funded, unpaid.


    2. All Open Opportunities: FTE Count - sum of total FTEs for open opportunities: new & renewals; paid & funded only.


    3. New Job Opportunities - funnel of all new paid & funded jobs, grouped by stage and totaled by FTE, won and open.


    4. Renewal Opportunities - funnel of all renewal paid & funded jobs, grouped by stage and totaled by FTE, won and open.



    5. Closed Won: Total Revenue - sum of total revenue for all closed won opportunities: new & renewals; paid, funded, unpaid.


    6. Closed Won: FTE Count - sum of total FTEs for closed won opportunities: new & renewals; paid & funded only.


    7. Revenue Goal - total revenue goal (can be updated by following this help doc).


    8. FTE Goal - total paid & funded FTE goal (can be updated by following this help doc).


    9. Progress Toward Revenue Goal: Closed won - gauge of progress toward revenue goal: closed won; all types.

    

    10. Progress Toward FTE Goal: Closed Won - gauge of progress toward FTE goal: closed won; paid & funded only.


    11. Progress Toward Revenue Goal: Closed & Committed - gauge of progress toward revenue goal: closed won, contracting, and verbal yes; all types.


    12. Progress Toward FTE Goal: Closed & Committed - gauge of progress toward FTE goal: closed won, contracting, and verbal yes; all types.



    13. Renewal Confidence: Open Opportunities - renewals grouped by renewal confidence.


    14. Closed Won by Funding Category - won opportunities grouped by funding category; new and renewals.


    15. All Closed Won Opportunities by Type: All Funding Categories - won opportunities grouped by new jobs and renewals; paid, funded, unpaid.


Notes

  • To see the most up-to-date data in a dashboard, click the Refresh button in the top right corner. Simply loading the page or refreshing your browser will not refresh the dashboard.
  • If you feel there is information missing or your charts do not look right, make sure your opportunities are filled out accurately and thoroughly. Some common issues are:
    • FTE count not logged
    • Partnership category or renewal confidence level not selected
    • Incorrect FTE or revenue goal
