Access the Student’s Contact Page

  • Search for the student using the global search bar at the top of Salesforce.

  • Or, navigate through a relevant list view from the Contact tab (e.g., “12th Graders”) and select the student's name.

As long is a student is not currently enrolled in college, Matriculation Steps should appear first on their page.

Confirm Contact and Demographic Information

  • Check the spelling of the student’s first, middle, and last name, suffix, and birthdate.

  • This information must be accurate, as it is sent to the National Student Clearinghouse for enrollment matching.

  • Click the “Confirm” button at the top once this information is verified.

Review Additional Contact and Demographic Fields

  • Verify the student’s college contact information for post-graduation communication.

  • Review demographic data, which is used for statistical purposes.

Scroll to the Matriculation Steps Section

  • Located near the bottom of the contact page, this section lists all pre-enrollment steps.

Understand the Four Key Matriculation Steps

  • These steps are highlighted in yellow and are required for a student to be considered 100% complete:

    • Enrollment step by student

    • Final award letter received

    • Immunization record submitted

    • Attended orientation or registration

Edit Matriculation Steps

  • Click the “Edit” button in the matriculation steps section.

  • Update the necessary fields to reflect the student’s current status.

  • Click “Save” at the bottom of the section once your edits are complete.

Confirm Completion Status

  • After saving, the matriculation step completion percentage will update automatically based on key fields filled.
