TABLE OF CONTENTS

At some point, every active sales opportunity will reach a final stage: closed. The following steps apply to all qualified prospects (new jobs and renewals); if you are working with an unqualified prospect and need to update its final stage, refer to this article.

New Jobs

To indicate the outcome of a renewal opportunity:

1. Navigate to the opportunity using the Global Search bar at the top of the screen.

2. On the pipeline path, select Closed and click Select Closed Stage.

3. Select the appropriate closed stage from the dropdown list:

a. Closed Won - this partner has signed a contract for a specific year and FTE count.

b. Closed - No Further Pursuit - the company has formally declined to participate in the Corporate Work Study Program, and any attempts at cultivating this company in the future will be unsuccessful. This opportunity will be marked as "Closed", with all of the details remaining on the record for future reference.

c. Closed - Not Now - the company has formally declined to participate in CWSP this year but left the sales process open to discussion in the future. This opportunity will be marked as "Closed", with all of the details remaining on the record for future reference, but a new unqualified prospect for the company will be automatically created.

Renewals

    1. Navigate to the opportunity using the Global Search bar at the top of the screen.

    2. On the pipeline path, select Closed and click Select Closed Stage.

    3. Select the appropriate closed stage from the dropdown list:

a. Closed Won - this partner has signed a contract for a specific year and FTE count.

b. Non-Renewal - this partner is not renewing for the next school year. This opportunity will be marked as "Closed", with all of the details remaining on the record for future reference.

Notes

  • In every case, the opportunity will be marked as "closed" but all of the information will remain intact, allowing your team to reference the details of this opportunity in the future.
  • You can close multiple opportunities at once by mass editing opportunities in a list view.
  • You can see the stage history of an opportunity, including who closed an opportunity and when, using the Stage History component at the bottom left of any opportunity record.
