A student's employment may be ended for a number of reasons, which you can document in Work Studyforce.
1. Navigate to the student's page and click on the Edit link to the left of the employment that you would like to end.
2. In the Outcome and Exact Dates section, update the End Date to the last day on which the student worked (or will work).
If you know the date a student is leaving ahead of time, you can set the end date in the future. You don't need to wait until the student's last day to set the end date.
3. In the same section, use the drop-down to choose the appropriate outcome. Remember to click Save.
Ask your team how your department defines the Outcome choices. For example, if a student is removed from a problematic placement, is the outcome "Completed" or "Re-assigned"? Deciding how to define these categories beforehand will help your team keep your data consistent and accurate.
Note that In the Employment section of the student page, the Timeframe will reflect the employment status, depending on when the start and end dates fall relative to today's date.
