Creating an Account

To keep track of partners, both prospective and current, start by simply creating an account for that company.

  1. Prevent duplicates! Before creating a new account, check that the company does not already have an existing record in Work Studyforce by searching for it in the Search box. You can review potentially relevant records by hovering over the results preview.
Even if you think you're bringing on a new company, your predecessors may have already created an account for it.
  1. Once you've confirmed that the account does not yet exist in Work Studyforce, click on the drop-down arrow next to the Accounts tab on the navigation bar. Select New Account.
  1. Fill in as much information as possible. Don't forget to click the Save button when you are done.
Salesforce might provide autofill suggestions as you are filling out the Account Name field. Feel free to select one of the options or ignore the suggestions.
