Recovering Deleted Records

If you accidentally deleted a record, you can recover it using the Recycle Bin. Deleted records are stored in the Recycle Bin for 15 days before they are permanently deleted.

  1. Click the app picker in the top left corner of any Salesforce screen.
  2. Start typing in "Recycle Bin" and click on the resulting item.
  1. Review the items that have been recently deleted. You can click any of the column headers to sort by that field, and you can narrow your search by cloning the list view and adding filters.
  2. Once you have found the record(s) you wish to restore, select the appropriate checkbox(es) and click the Restore button. All checked records will now be fully accessible and functional.
